Jacqui Greene Haas

Jacqui Greene Haas was a professional ballet dancer with Boston Ballet, Southern Ballet Theatre, Tampa Ballet, New Orleans City Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet. She holds a BA in Dance from the University of South Florida and an Athletic Training Certificate from the University of Cincinnati. She also has a certificate in Pilate’s instruction from St. Francis Memorial Hospital Dance Medicine Division in San Francisco and a certificate in Pilates Rehab from Polestar Education in Miami, Fl. She has been the Athletic Trainer for the Cincinnati Ballet since 1989, and is the Director of Dance Medicine Academic Seminars. This has given her the opportunity to speak to dancers, instructors and health care practitioners in Cincinnati, Louisville, Columbus, Toledo, Charlotte, N.C. and Chicago. Ms. Haas is the Director of the Dance Medicine Division of Wellington Orthopedics Therapy Services in Cincinnati where she treats dancers in physical therapy, post-surgical rehab and general conditioning. She has developed injury prevention programs for numerous dance studios, as well as, Mcging Irish Dancers, The School for Creative and Performing Arts and the University of Cincinnati Dance Dept. Some of her dance medicine articles have been published in Dance Magazine and Advanced Rehabilitation Magazine. She has also presented on Dance Medicine topics at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science Conference in Tring, England and Hartford, Conn. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Pilates Method Alliance and The International Association of Dance Medicine and Science.
