Woodford "Woody" Simmons is a multi-talented musician from Randolph County. A fierce competitor, he has won countless prizes for his accomplished fiddling and banjo playing. He was born in 1911 on Becky's Creek near Huttonsville, and still lives close by in Mill Creek.
