John Morgan Crossing the River below Parkersburg.óGov. Boreman yesterday received a dispatch from Parkersburg, announcing that John Morgan was attempting to cross the Ohio into Virginia, at Bellville, 18 miles below Parkersburgh. When the scout who gave this information left Bellville, a gun boat was in sight, which, in all probability, ere this, engaged Morganís forces. When the scout left only eight or ten of the rebels had crossed.óTwelve hundred soldiers had been sent from Parkersburgh to Bellville.

A later dispatch to Gov. Boreman, which appears elsewhere, announces that three hundred of Morganís men were captured yesterday at Buffington, several miles below Bellville.
