Arrest Of An Alleged Government Plunderer. Deputy U. S. Marshal W. H. Irwin yesterday brought into the city and committed to jail I. Bender, of Fetterman, Marion county. Bender was indicted for a misdemeanor at the late term of the Federal Court at Clarksburg. He is said to have be[e]n detected in stealing Government clothing. He had just escaped from Pruntytown jail, where he had been confined for threatening the life of his wife.
